The manga is finally finished! The ending was okay although it could have been better. I hope Takahashi-san's next work won't be as long. :-)

one love, one lifetime
Thanks to all the people who left comments on my last entry. :) I will definitely post some pics as soon as I can find how to transfer files from my Razr to my pc. I really am lost regarding that. :(

Anyway, since I will be going on maternity leave some time this week, I have decided that instead of doing nothing here while waiting for the baby to come, I really should resurrect at least some of my former sites, like my RK and Inuyasha sites. I also want to create my picture site where I can post all the pics I have ever taken on my US trip. But we'll see... Hopefully, I'd be able to create everything before I give birth because I am sure the new baby will keep me very busy.

I guess that's about it... for now. I really can't wait til I have this baby. :)

Does anyone know an online shop that sells the following digicams: Fuji Finepix z3 (pink) or Kodak v803 (pink), that ships internationally? I want those pink cameras so bad... :(

Updates on my life

  • Feb. 20th, 2007 at 6:20 AM
inuyasha fight
Hi everyone! I know I haven't written for so long but I've just been so busy with everything. Anyway, here are the updates on my life, just in case anyone's interested:

* I only have 10 weeks until my due date. And I still haven't bought anything for the baby because I have no clue on what I should buy. Sure, I already have the crib and the stroller and a few baby clothes given by friends but other than that, I have nothing. Oh well, I better haul my lazy ass and do some serious shopping one of these days...

* I've been promoted at work, finally. Everthing's fine at work now and everyone's taking good care of me.

* The baby's father is still... the father? He's still confusing and I really don't wanna depend on him anymore. If he smartens up, then fine. But if not, it's not really my loss...

* I'm really excited about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows this July. I wanna pre-order the deluxe edition from Amazon but knowing them, shipping is gonna cost just as much, if not more than the book itself. I should know because I've ordered pregnancy and baby journals from them (those Anne Geddes books are just so hard to resist!) and more often than not, shipping costs more than the actual books. Oh well. I really don't mind that much since you can't find those books here. I actually wanted to buy the Fuji Finepix z3 pink camera from Amazon but they don't ship electronic items internationally. :(

* I really wanna buy a new digicam but the Radioshack and Circuit City does not ship internationally. :(

I guess that's just about it. Til the next update (and God knows when that'll be!). I'll try to post new pics soon. Catch you guys later. :)

Tonight I can write the saddest lines.

Write, for example, 'The night is starry
and the stars are blue and shiver in the distance.'

The night wind revolves in the sky and sings.

Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
I loved her, and sometimes she loved me too.

Through nights like this one I held her in my arms.
I kissed her again and again under the endless sky.

She loved me, sometimes I loved her too.
How could one not have loved her great still eyes.

Tonight I can write the saddest lines.
To think that I do not have her. To feel that I have lost her.

To hear the immense night, still more immense without her.
And the verse falls to the soul like dew to the pasture.

What does it matter that my love could not keep her.
The night is starry and she is not with me.

This is all. In the distance someone is singing. In the distance.
My soul is not satisfied that it has lost her.

My sight tries to find her as though to bring her closer.
My heart looks for her, and she is not with me.

The same night whitening the same trees.
We, of that time, are no longer the same.

I no longer love her, that's certain, but how I loved her.
My voice tried to find the wind to touch her hearing.

Another's. She will be another's. As she was before my kisses.
Her voice, her bright body. Her infinite eyes.

I no longer love her, that's certain, but maybe I love her.
Love is so short, forgetting is so long.

Because through nights like this one I held her in my arms
my soul is not satisfied that it has lost her.

Though this be the last pain that she makes me suffer
and these the last verses that I write for her.

This a poem by Pablo Neruda. This poem perfectly describes the way I feel right now. I have loved and lost again... BUt I will never ever regret ever loving that person because the moments that I spent with him are by far the happiest in my life...

I am doing some training exercises.

I am so bored.

I feel stupid.

32 more days to go before I go home.

The Mavericks lost to the Heat. Aargh!

This post does not make any sense even to me.

Oh well...

GoF opinionated negative review

I know that a lot of people might not share my opinion regarding the fourth Harry Potter movie but to tell you guys the truth, I did not like it very much. Considering that the Goblet of Fire is one of my favorite book in the series, so far (after Half Blood Prince and Prisoner of Azkaban). The reason, or rather, the reasons why? Read on…

My very negative review of the movie. Proceed with caution )

GoF premiere

wedding
I think that Bonnie Wright is growing into a beautiful young lady. And I do love the way she dresses. I normally wouldn't go for the dress that she wore for the premiere but she carried it off beautifully with the red bra straps and red pumps. One nitpick I had was the bag, though. The bag itself was fine but it didn't look quite right with the rest of the outfit. I would've opted for a matching red bag instead. But anyway, now that I've seen the most recent Bonnie pic, I can again honestly say that she's perfect as Ginny... And before I forget, I absolutely love her hair. It's so red. I can imagine Harry running his fingers through it. Hehehe.

I also loved Emma Watson's getup. A bit unconventional but as I've said earlier, that girl can wear a burlap sack and still look good in the process.

How come Daniel doesn't look as good in real life as he does in the movies?

Rupert Grint is gorgeous. 'Nuff said. :)

Clemence Posey looks better as herself than as Fleur Delacour. She's actually more stunning as herself than as Fleur. Weird.

Katie Leung... still disappointed but there's nothing I can do. But she's looking better in my eyes now that I've resigned myself to the fact that she is playing Cho Chang and there's nothing anybody can do about it.

Guess that's it. More to come, hopefully.

Harry/Luna

pink kiss
I didn't know until this week that there is such a thing as Harry/Luna... Hehehe. My only take on the matter is, feeling pity for someone could not provide a good foundation for any romantic relationship. And this ship is just so weird, no offense to anyone. Heeheehee. :)

the nonexisting rivalry

one look
I've been reading the comments over at Muggle Net regarding Bonnie Wright's latest pic and one thing has been really getting on my nerves. Is there really a need to compare her to Emma Watson??? They're both beautiful but c'mon! There's no rivalry between the two of them. Also, I stand by my opinion that WB should have made Emma a bit homelier to make her the perfect Hermione. Damn, she's just too gorgeous for the part! But Bonnie Wright is just perfect for Ginny. I can't wait til movie 6 when WB glams her up to be the girl that TRULY caught Harry's heart. :)

dress robes

This is the first time that I've seen a full view of Hermione's ball gown. The only thing that I can say is HIDEOUS. Couldn't they find a better gown for her? But at least she has nice shoes.

And there's also a new Bonnie Wright pic at The Leaky Cauldron. I think that she looks very pretty, and young and so innocent. I think she's the perfect Ginny, except that they should make her hair a lot redder. What do you guys think? :)

I'm on the lookout for some really nice H/G, R/Hr, and D/G fanarts. So if you have any rec, just tell me. By the way, [info]smittenly, can you please tell me again who made the art in our fantastic icon? Thanks sooooo much.

I still haven't started the 3rd Narnia book, 'cause I'm still high on the 2nd book. Hopefully, I'd be able to start on it tonight.

Guess that's it. :)

another semi-rant

I've finished reading 'The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe' and I absolutely loved it! I can't wait to see the movie. I wanna see if the movie will do the book justice. Unlike the Harry Potter movies, which bastardized the books in so many ways, thanks largely to the evil Steve Kloves (who must be madly in lust with Emma Watson to have almost made the series into the Hermione Granger series). In fact, I'm looking forward to the Narnia movie more than the Goblet of Fire since I'm very disappointed with all the movie pics that has been coming out. All those sweet H/Hr pics make me wanna puke! Now where the hell did those come from??? I really can't remember GoF containing any mushy H/Hr moment (did any of the books have it, now that you mention it?), and in fact, that's the book where all the anvil-sized R/Hr hints started coming out. Grrrrr... Steve Kloves makes me so mad. He should've made his own book and made into a movie, instead of messing up a totally good story. Warner Brothers and JK Rwoling should've gotten people who ACTUALLY READ THE BOOKS! Not some dude who has an Emma Watson-fixation. I love Emma Watson but c'mon! Hermione is ONE OF THE SIDEKICKS! Not the freaking heroine, thank you. Which brings me to my next rant: There is a poll at Veritaserum, which asks fans what they would like to see more in the GoF movie. THere is actually a H/Hr option and some people actually voted for that. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Isn't that deluding themselves more? If I were a H/Hr fan, I definitely would NOT vote for that since it's like setting myself up for more disapointment because I already know that R/Hr is canon. It's like a pathetic attempt to save a ship that has already sunk and has no way of ever resurfacing. But it's their choice: it's not me they're deluding, just themselves...

DIE STEVE KLOVES DIE!!!!
